Tips include:

  • Stop smoking
  • Drink alcohol in moderation
  • Eat a healthy and balanced diet
  • Exercise regularly – but don’t overdo it
  • Maintain a healthy weight
  • Have your blood pressure and cholesterol checked regularly
  • Keep active and maintain your social life.
